Letter to 2024
Dear 2024,
I am Nivedh Govil who is 12 years old. I am very sad. This is the last time I will be talking to you before you leave forever (unless I get a time machine). This year has been a good time with lots of memories.
In the summer vacations, I had my first international trip to Malaysia. I went to Legoland and to my first island there. I thoroughly enjoyed and had a great time there. Unfortunately, in the previous academic year I didn’t top the class. I was really heartbroken. We also shifted from Pune to Vadodara and I got admission to a new school, with a new curriculum. I like it here better.
In my new school, my team and I came 2nd in a science exhibition, which was really fun. I also started a startup, but it wasn’t successful. Me and my family went on a road trip to Mangi Tungi which had 4500 steps. It was really tiring but fun at the same time. This year I came in the 10 in the International Social Studies Olympiad and in the top 50 in IMO.
This year is now over. Now it is time to look forward to 2025, our new friend.
