Results day
The checkpoint exam results had come to Rajesh’s class. He had waited for two months. The teacher started distributing the papers. When she called Rajesh, he slowly got up and walked to his teacher. She gave the paper to him with a neutral face. Rajesh got scared and thought that his result was bad. With trembling hands and his eyes closed, he took the paper and looked at it. His face dropped. 64%! He then sank to his chair and cried.
But things were different for Mayank. He was the class topper and in the previous exam his average was 95%. He proudly went to collect his paper with a grin on his face. When he saw his marks, his paper fell from his hand. His average marks were 78.4%!
From 95 to 75! How was that possible? He told his teacher that there must be a mistake. But his teacher replied that his over confidence took the better of him. Now he couldn’t get a PS5. He became the saddest man on Earth.
